Smart meters will benefit all of us. They help us manage how we use energy in the home and will contribute to making our networks ever so smart. It's why we put 'becoming smart ready' as one of our key milestones early on in the Rebel journey.
The option to have a smart meter is there, from when you first become part of Rebel. We completed our first install in November 2021 and we are looking to power on with our installation program this year - we are fully supportive of the Government's strategy in getting every home a smart meter.
Each year we are set a target for installing smart meters.

Our meter operator partner AES, will contact you to arrange your smart meter install and you can register your interest by sending us an email with 'smart meter install' in the subject line to help@rebelenergy.com.
