What if a major storm is forecast?

If a major storm is forecast, make sure you’re prepared:

• Remember to keep a mobile phone fully charged
• If you have a battery-powered radio, tune it into a local radio station
• Keep a torch handy – much safer than candles
• Make sure you and your vulnerable relatives/neighbours have a charged mobile phone with important numbers easily accessed, in case help is needed.
