Where does Rebel buy its energy?

OUR ELECTRICITY IS 100% RENEWABLE.

Right now, we’re sourcing our energy from a number of trusted suppliers. This is either energy purchased direct from a renewable generator or by REGOs.

The Renewable Energy Guarantees of Origin (REGO) scheme provides transparency to consumers about the proportion of electricity that suppliers source from renewable generation.

REGOs are not perfect, but they give us the foundation we need to make renewable energy accessible to all.

Alongside this, we’re forming relationships with renewable energy generators. These are wind, solar and hydro farms in the UK that have community-minded business models we can get behind.

Then the real work starts.

Our ambition is to equip our customers with the means to generate their own energy. That means moving to a new model of energy that’s local, regenerative and community led. We also want to generate our own renewable energy, so that the energy we supply is the energy we produce.
